Kylian Mbappe Is Poised to Become the Face of Soccer

Right now, most soccer fans would only make two choices when it comes to the best soccer player in the world. The first would be Cristiano Ronaldo, and the second would be Lionel Messi. Indeed, there are never-ending debates between passionate fans over whether Messi or Ronaldo is the face of soccer.

The Messi/Ronaldo debate will continue for quite some time. Leo Messi has seven Ballon D'ors and four Champions League Titles. Cristano Ronaldo has five Ballon D'ors and five Champions League Titles. Ronaldo also led his country to the 2016 European Championship. Both men have 800+ career goals.

In the next 5-10 years, there will be no debate over who the face of soccer is. I predict that it will be Kylian Mbappe. One could arrive at this conclusion before the World Cup games started. However, Mbappe's performance in the World Cup has only solidified that he will be the top star in soccer once Messi and Ronaldo retire.

Mbappe put on an incredible display in France's 3-1 win over Poland. He hit two spectacular shots over Wojciech Szczęsny, and as of right now, he is the front-runner for the Golden Boot. Mbappe is head and shoulders over most opposing defenders. He is the heart and soul of his team and is looking to win back-to-back World Cup Champions.

Rival teams have a difficult time as is worrying about Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezmann. Mbappe's blistering speed and overall brilliance are quite captivating to witness. He has fully displayed his performance during this year's World Cup.

In his career, Mbappe has scored over 200+ goals for Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.

In his career, Mbappe has scored over 200+ goals for Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain. Most of his success has been attributed to his tenure with Paris Saint-Germain. Overall, Mbappe has won five Ligue-1 championships, three Coupe de Frances, and a World Cup.

On Sunday, Olivier Giroud broke France's all-time goals record when he scored his 52nd international goal. As tremendous as this achievement was, it will only be a matter of time before Kylian Mbappe breaks it.

Mbappe already has 33 career international goals for the French National Team. Not only will Mbappe break the record, but he's also going to shatter it.

It is only a matter of time before Kylian Mbappe becomes the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about international soccer. It may even occur after this World Cup.
