New Era Cap Company recently released the Houston Astros 'Space City' fitted hat on April 10th, 2022. The 2022 City Connect Astros 59FIFTY fitted features a navy blue six panel structured high crown and embroidered eyelets with a vibrant saturated orange fabric squatchee button. The flat bill of the fitted cap is also navy blue with a black undervisor (known in the hat collectors community as 'black nasty') and a black sweatband. The front panel features the Houston Astros lettermark 'H' embroidered in white thread behind an orbit star embroidered in a orange/yellow gradient colorway. The right panel features an 'Astros' side patch embroidered in orange thread.  Fitteds are avilable in both high and low profiles.

Underneath the high crown of the baseball cap is orange embroidered bar with the script 'Houston the Eagle has landed.' embroidered in navy blue thread. The Houston Astros Space City theme fitted hat and jersey is paying tribute to Houston’s contributions to space travel.
