Jadakiss, whose real name is Jason Terrance Phillips can always be seen rocking a variet of hats from knitted skullies and dad hats to strapbacks, snapbacks and fitted hats. In this "Celebrity Edition" we dive into rapper Jadakiss fitteds & snapbacks. 

 Classic New York Yankee Fitted Hat

Being a New York born rapper this choice is almost a given. All New York rappers will likely have a classic navy blue or black 59Fifty New York Yankees fitted hat. We've seen it from other New York based rappers such as Jay Z, Papoose, JaRule, 50 Cent, Styles P and the list goes on. All of these rappers have represented and paid homage to New York City by rocking the Yankee fitted.

Paper Planes Hats 

Jadakiss can be seen here rocking the Planes Crew mesh hat. Planes Crew along with Paper Planes is Roc Nation brand. Speaking of Paper Planes this paper plane with black and white stripe logo has become quite popular in Hip Hop culture. We have several people contacting us to notify them if anyone is selling their Paper Planes fitted hat (not the snapback). Jadakiss can be spotted rocking both the red and blue and quite possibly the black Paper Planes hat.

Harlem rapper Dave East  with billboard chart toppers "True Story: Paranoia" & "Survival" is also a baseball cap fan. In fact Dave East love New Era hats so much that he has partnered with New Era Co. to make his own branded version of his favorite 59Fifty fitted hats and 9Fifty snapbacks. The hats do not have an entirely new design, except for maybe one which is still simple in style, much like rapper Meek Mill's New Era hat. Many of the hats just contain small modifications, but you know what they say, "Sometimes you have to change things that are perfectly normal, just to make them your own." In this "Celebrity Edition" we focus on the small modifications that makes a Dave East fitted hat.

Dave East Got Gas?

This fitted hat is pretty self explanatory. It is a red 59Fifty low pro style hat with the words "got gas?". We say "59Fifty low pro style" because this fitted doesn't seem to be a New Era fitted hat but its still simplistic and unique. The word 'gas" in this context doesn't mean gas in the literal sense, for those who are not familiar with slang. "Gas" used in this way means to give compliments, to give someone confident, to inflate someone's ego.

Dave East "D East" Fitted Hat

The Dave East "DE" 59Fifty fitted hat is created in a very classic fitted hat style without any of the pizzazz but still unique enough that fans have gone crazy to get their hands on this hat. The fitted hat is full black with the only white visible is the New Era flagship logo located on the left of the fitted and the front D East logo located on the front.

Rick Ross the hip hop rapper and mega superstar who coined the word "Bawse" (as in boss) has always had a great fashion sense. From his sneakers to his cars to his baseball caps and iced out jewelry, this man is very particular about his image. In this "Celebrity Edition" we are going to look through some of Rick Ross's different looks where he is rocking a baseball cap, either a snapback or fitted hat.

Rick Ross is sporting a yellow NBA Los Angeles Lakers "Finals" snapback cap. There are patches on both sides of the snapback, with the left side displaying the Lakers logo and the right patch displaying the finals insignia. The front of the hat displays the word "The Finals" in purple cursive. This is a Mitchell and Ness baseball cap.

Rick Ross is sporting a plain yellow sweater with a yellow Los Angeles Lakers mid-length basketball shorts. On both sides of the shorts is purple with white outlines. Inside the purple is the number "7" in yellow, a tribute to the recently deceased and legendary Lakers ball player Kobe Bryant. The purple and white outlines is also present at the cuff of the shorts. The sneakers are custom design LA Lakers theme Nike classic low-top Uptowns. Right sneaker on the right side is yellow and the right side of the left sneaker is white with a yellow Nike check mark. Left sneaker on the left side is purple and the right side of the left sneaker is again white with a yellow check mark.
